Wyse Winterm 3125SE MF XP, HP LaserJet 1100

hi folks,

has anyone been able to set up a HP LaserJet 1100 on a Wyse winterm
3125SE using the LPD function and get readable results?

I've been able to set it up and have it available within the session,
using the HP PCL3 compatible laser driver on the winterm and the HP
LaserJet 4 driver on the server, but the print out comes with weird
spaces between certain letters.

we've only recently changed this client machine to a winterm, it works
fine on the w98 machine but we're about to throw them all out (to
charity).

so does anyone know a specific combination of drivers to use that will
make it work properly?

I would try a postscript driver instead and see if it helps.
